Wave VI
Wave VI provides findings from a random sample of 1,248 adults ages 18 and older, which was administered by the Gallup Organization between January 27 and March 21, 2021.
Because our data was collected during the COVID pandemic, we asked people how life had changed for them. We found that many Americans were experiencing heightened negative emotions. In addition, we found evidence of rises in conspiratorial thinking and in support for the tenets of Christian Nationalism. We also looked at the prayer habits of Americans and found clear partisan differences in how and why we pray.
Wave VI of the survey focuses on:
- Religious identities and participation
- God images and religious belief
- Moral and political attitudes
- Mental Health
- COVID Effects
- Gender and Race Attitudes
